Almeida Junior invests in technology for the Christmas campaign

The expectation in retail for the Christmas performance of 2017 will be the best in the last four years, according to the CNC (National Confederation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism). Combined with growth and a Christmas campaigns focused on celebrating the unforgettable moments this year, Almeida Junior which is the largest company in the shopping mall sector in the South of Brazil invested in technology to offer more agility to the participating customers.

Almeida Junior will raffle a Volvo V40 car in each of its malls: for every R$ 300 in purchases, the customer wins a coupon to compete for the drawing. To facilitate the exchange of invoices by coupons, modern terminals of self-service via tablets were installed. It is very simple to participate: just include the registration data, photograph the invoices and accompany them next to the exchange space. Soon after, the coupons will be available to be inserted into the urn.

AJ. Labs – innovation and experimentation center of Almeida Junior – attentive to innovations and technologies – has created a new version of its application that offers advantages to clients. The goal is to avoid lines and offer greater agility in service, demonstrating the respect and attention to consumers who choose to do their shopping in all the six Almeida Junior shopping centers.

The ‘Almeida Junior’ APP is also another tool for facilitating the registration of invoices. By clicking on “Christmas Giveaway”, the customer registers the invoices and once confirmed, you are automatically competing for the drawing. In the last days of the promotion the teams of each mall places the coupons in the urn or if the client prefers he can attend the mall and himself make the deposit of the coupon in the urn. It is important in remembering that the exchanges through the app are worth double the coupons.

The Merry Christmas campaign is held at the six Almeida Junior shopping centers – Neumarkt and Norte (Blumenau), Balneário (Balneário Camboriú), Garten (Continville), Continente (Greater Florianópolis) and Nações (Criciúma). The promotion is valid until January 14, 2018 and the raffles for the vehicles will be held on January 16th.
